All Saints Day
We made to November. Winter is too soon around the corner, and the weather is certainly reflecting it. Virginia certainly does make a beautiful state in the colorful fall months. A hike last weekend weekend to Crabtree Falls, driving across the state to get to the Nuclear Power Station at Surry work work the Unit 2 Steam Generator Cleaning, and even the restricted view from my apartment balcony are gorgeous lately. I got a few days off this weekend and got to come back to Lynchburg for some Halloween festivities. Jeff’s Areva party was a hit, and seeing Paranormal Activity last night was definitely in the spirit of the holiday. That was one of the scarier movies I think I have ever seen. Unfortunately the LONG awaited sequel to one of the greatest cult-classic action movies, Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day, makes a big screen appearance at only a select sixty-five theatres, mostly near New York and LA. I suppose I will have to wait for the DVD release.

Dropped off the Jilly Bean Travel Bug down on the Percival’s Island running trail, and grabbed a cache up a Crabtree Falls. Hopefully I will get a few on the way back out to Surry on Tuesday! Not really too much else going on really. Will probably wait until after this month working at site, to load up the new Windows 7. Listened to a neat radio interview about it the other day. Not really sure why people make such a big deal about new OS’s anymore really. Do we really need any more than a way to pick sweet backgrounds and screen savers, a way to access the files we store locally on a hard drive, and a window to the internet?

Anyway just checking in. All I got for now.
